What is an Indian Visa?

-Proof of sufficient financial means to support your stay in India, such as bank statements or travellers cheques. Credit cards are not accepted as proof of financial means.
-For business visa applicants: an official invitation from the company in India that you will be visiting, detailing the purpose and duration of your stay, as well as information on your accommodation and flights.
How to Get an Indian Visa
If you are an Estonian citizen, you can apply for an Indian e-Tourist Visa (eTV). The eTV is valid for 60 days from the date of issue and allows for multiple entries into India. You can apply for the eTV online through the Indian government’s visa website.
If you are a British citizen, you can apply for an Indian visa through the High Commission of India in London. You will need to submit your passport, two passport photographs, a completed visa application form, and a self-addressed envelope. The High Commission will take approximately 3-5 working days to process your application.
