Indian Visa Requirements for Kenyan Citizens
Kenyan citizens require a visa to visit India. Namibian citizens may also require a visa to visit India. The Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) website provides the following visa requirements for Kenyan and Namibian citizens:
-Passport validity for at least six months beyond the intended period of stay in India
-Valid visa for the country of transit or final destination
-Proof of financial resources sufficient to cover expenses during stay in India, including return trip
– Vaccination against yellow fever and other diseases recommended if travelling from an endemic area.
Indian Visa Requirements for Namibia Citizens
Namibia is a landlocked country in southern Africa bordered by Angola to the north, Botswana to the east and south, and Zambia to the west. It has an area of 2,040,000 square kilometers and a population of 1,214,000 people as of 2017. The country’s capital city is Windhoek. Namibia became independent from South Africa on 21 March 1990.
The Namibian visa requirements are different for Kenyan citizens than they are for Namibians. For Kenyan citizens, a visa is not required for visits up to 30 days. How to Apply for an Indian Visa
If you are a citizen of Kenya or Namibia, you can apply for an Indian visa by following these steps:
- Visit the Indian embassy in your country and submit your application form. You will need to provide your full name, date of birth, passport number, and other required information.
- Once you have submitted your application, you will be sent a confirmation letter. Make sure to keep this document safe as it will contain all the necessary details about your application.
- Once your visa is issued, you will receive a notification letter from the embassy with all the instructions on how to pick up your visa at the airport or port of entry.
Indian Visa Fees
Kenya and Namibia citizens need a visa to visit India. The Indian Embassy in Nairobi processes visas for both countries. Kenya citizens need a tourist visa, while Namibians need a business visa. The fee for a Kenyan tourist visa is US$30, and the fee for a Namibian business visa is US$60. Both types of visas are valid for three months.
