How to Obtain a Turkey Visa

The Royal Bahamas Police Force has advised Turks who are planning on travelling to the island nation that the visa requirements for Turks have changed. Effective from 1 October 2017, all Turks will require a valid Turkish visa in order to visit the Bahamas. Previously, Turks only needed a tourist visa.

Turkish nationals will still be able to apply for a tourist visa at the Bahamian Embassy or Consulate in their respective countries.

Bahamian citizens require a tourist visa if they plan on travelling to Turkey for less than 90 days. Barbados citizens do not require a Turkish visa if they are travelling for tourism purposes only. For all other travel purposes, such as work, students and visitors staying more than 90 days, Barbados citizens will require a Turkey Visa for Barbados Citizens.
