Visa Free Travel to Turkey with Indian and Indonesian Citizens

Turkey Visa Requirements

To be eligible for visa-free entry, you must have a valid passport that is valid for at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in Turkey.

If you are not a citizen of one of the countries mentioned above, you may still be able to travel to Turkey visa-free if you have a valid passport from a country that is part of the European Union or Schengen Area. However, you will need to provide proof of onward travel.

Indonesian and Indian nationals can now enjoy visa-free travel to Turkey, following the bilateral agreement signed between both countries in June 2018.

Turkish nationals can also visit India visa-free for up to 30 days in any 180-day period. This means that travellers from both countries can explore the vast diversity of each other’s culture without needing a visa.

This is thanks to the Ankara Agreement between the two countries, which was signed in June 2015 and went into effect on August 1st of that year.
